To study history is to tell our own stories. Reading the past is like looking in the mirror. It’s endlessly relevant. Above all, the author must have empathy for the past, and for the people who lived there, in order to be a good writer.
I am regularly engaged to write privately commissioned works, including biographies of historical and living people and families, corporate and business histories, and ghostwritten projects, including memoirs and commentaries on current affairs.
Having conducted intensive genealogical research projects for personal and professional purposes since I was sixteen years old, and as a professional historian capable of putting family events in historical context, I also am commissioned to write family histories and genealogical research.
My previously commissioned works include:
Veterans biographies (I have also conducted private tours for families following their veteran’s experiences.)
Extended family histories
Lives of historical figures
Histories of businesses and biographies of chief executives
K-12 educational content
